chicago based trip hop producer blackdaylight adds another volume of densely textured electronic soundscapes to his semi-prolific digital portfolio with the 2010 release of LOST. Destruction is the main theme of the album, but the thick, perversely sexy lava music vibe is still present on all of the live recordings in the collection.

one of chicago's best producers delivers and amazing album!
blackdaylight gives us with this album a new dose of his melodic and heavy pulsating beat-soul production. I hope that this tape does not pass undiscovered while not on label because it clearly marks a new high in the musical development of the producer.
although the music could be labeled as "trip-hop" or "instrumental hip-hop", I was very glad to hear that LOST was definitely not a remake/remix of the music that the most popular names in this genre put out.
Listen and download this and expect to be positively surprised - it is an amazing album!
